Crescent is the last remaining duck farm on Long Island. Founded by Henry Corwin in 1908 they have been family owned and operated by the Corwin family ever since. They are fed only natural grains and never given growth hormones or steroids. The ducks are tended to by family members three times a day, seven days a week. They were also at the forefront of environmentally friendly farming by installing a 2.5 million dollar system that converts waste into compost, which is then donated to small local farms.

Crescent is the preferred Duck of choice by practically all discerning New York City chefs. Some examples are JEAN-GEORGES, Daniel Boulud, and David Chang.
